Privacy
We try to keep this short. CrozetClaude is built to be useful to Crozet residents, not to harvest their data.
Chat conversations
Conversations with Claudius are ephemeral by default. We do not store the contents of your chats unless you explicitly choose to save one (which requires logging in via a magic link to your email).
To prevent abuse, we may briefly retain message text in moderation logs if it appears to be harassing, illegal, or attempting to manipulate the system. These logs are reviewed manually and are not used for any other purpose. We hash the IP address before storing it; we do not retain raw IPs.
If you sign up for our weekly digest, we store your email address solely to send you the digest. You can unsubscribe with one click from any digest email. We don't sell or share your email with anyone.
Analytics
We use Plausible Analytics, a privacy-respecting analytics service that does not use cookies and does not collect personal data. We may also use Vercel's built-in analytics for performance monitoring; this data is not tied to you personally.
Advertising
We may run display ads from networks such as Google AdSense. Advertisers may set their own cookies; you can opt out via Google's ad settings. There are no ads inside the chat interface itself.
